Stantec of Edmonton, one of two Canadian consulting engineering firms that are publicly traded, announced Friday that it has completed the acquisition of Architectura.
Architectura is a 90-person architectural firm based in Vancouver. It was recently selected as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies. Stantec has more than 3,500 employees operating out of 40 locations in North America and the Caribbean.
“Architectura is a key addition to our growing architectural and interior design practice in North America,” said Tony Franceschini, Stantec President & CEO. “Their architectural expertise in airports, entertainment attractions, post-secondary, and commercial complements Stantec’s in education and healthcare as well as our existing project management, engineering, and landscape architecture disciplines.”
