Omicron has won the 2010 Design-Build Award of Excellence from the Canadian Design-Build Institute for the Whistler Transit Facility project in Whistler, B.C.
Omicron provided comprehensive design and construction services for the project, which was completed in December 2009.
The Whistler facility is the largest hydrogen bus station and the first of its kind in the world. The 25,000-sq. ft. facility is capable of fueling and servicing a fleet of 36 hydrogen and diesel fueled buses.
