Giffels is completing feasibility studies and obtaining approvals for a large solar hydrogen production plant in Regina, Saskatchewan.<br>
The $16-million Fleet Street Landfill project will produce 1.2 million kilograms of hydrogen from landfill gas. It will prevent more than 1.5 million tonnes of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere over the next 20 years.<br>
Giffels is working with technology developer SHEC Labs to design and construct the project. Giffels will provide overall project management, engineering design support and contract administration services.<br>
