Flood sensing technology will now come pre-installed at the relief valve on all of Watts’ small-diameter LF919 backflow preventers.

Once an activation kit has been implemented, the flood sensors will let owners know if the relief valves of reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventers are ever discharging an excess amount of water.

Multi-channel alerts are available via email, text and phone call. The activation kits also include options for connecting to a building management system (BMS) or through a cellular gateway.
