Dome Sentry adds cybersecurity to building systems

Veridify Security, which provides cybersecurity devices for building automation and industrial controls, has introduced the Dome Sentry for BACnet/Secure Connect (SC) as a retrofit solution.
The Sentry adds cybersecurity protection to existing edge devices on buildings’ networks, protecting them from cyberattacks and eliminating the need to buy and install new systems to secure an operating facility. It automatically creates a secure ‘enclave’ for the edge devices and can manage multiple protocols within a building.
A local system integrator can install the Sentry to provide identification, authentication and data security. Promising ‘cybersecurity in a box,’ Dome is an open platform that can support all current network requirements, deliver future software updates in the field and automate the processes of establishing secure connections and encrypting all data commands and traffic.
