Senior people from two consulting engineering firms were among nine individuals honoured by Professional Engineers Ontario at its awards gala held on November 14.
William Rowan, P.Eng., head of Rowan Williams Davies & Irwin, a Guelph, Ontario, a firm that is well known for its wind analysis and microclimate studies, was given an Engineering Medal for Entrepreneurship.
Mr. H.N. (Hank) Edamura, P.Eng., a partner and senior vice president of multi-discipline firm Marshall Macklin Monaghan of Thornhill, Ontario, was given an Engineering Medal for Management. The company is co-project manager for the new terminal at Toronto Pearson International Airport Terminal.
