Dillon Consulting confirms new president

Sean Hanlon has taken over as president of Dillon Consulting Ltd. and Dillon Consulting Inc., having served as interim-president since April 2018.

As of January 21, Sean Hanlon, P.Eng., has taken on the permanent role as president of Dillon Consulting Limited and Dillon Consulting Inc.

In April 2018, Hanlon accepted the position of interim-president and successfully led Dillon through a period of transition, while at the same time driving growth for the organization across Canada. Dillon is an employee-owned firm with 18 offices and over 800 employees across Canada.

Hanlon is a chemical engineer with over 27 years of industry experience based out of Dillon’s Saint John, NB office.

He joined Dillon in 2002 and progressed rapidly within Dillon, becoming a partner in 2007. Hanlon has served as a member of the Dillon Board since 2010 and took on the leadership role for the Environmental Sciences group in 2014.

Moreover, he brings strong personal motivation and commitment to help the organization achieve its goals for both the short and long term,” said Rick Fitzgerald, Dillon Board Chair, in a company statement.

These attributes have earned him the admiration and respect of our organization and will serve him well as he continues to move forward in his role as president.”

Hanlon will continue to work with Interim-CEO Terry Boutilier and the entire Dillon team to grow the business within an environment of continuous learning and development. This commitment to the advancement of individual skills and knowledge not only allows for the consistent delivery of remarkable client experiences, but also increase Dillon’s ability to anticipate and develop new and innovative solutions to meet the needs of clients now and in the future.
