Construction is complete on the new Canadian headquarters for U.S.-based manufacturer of golf clubs and accessories TaylorMade. The new facility is located just north of Toronto at 6240 Highway 7 in Woodbridge, Ont.

Design firm Ware Malcomb was the prime consultant on the project, managing mechanical and electrical engineering consultant services while also providing interior architecture & design roles.

The new 1,860-square-meter TaylorMade one-storey facility includes the company’s Canadian corporate offices, as well as a golf laboratory and product showroom that are open to the public.

The consumer-facing space features three golf performance labs, a putting green, and a workshop designed to build custom-ordered TaylorMade products on-site.

“TaylorMade wanted an innovative facility that would provide an inspiring atmosphere for its employees, customers and partners alike,” said Frank Di Roma, principal of Ware Malcomb’s Toronto office, in a company release.

The facility’s interior design honours the sport of golf and its storied history in Canada. Many of the showrooms and meeting spaces were named after some of Canada’s best golf courses, including the Banff Springs Room and Capilano Room. Other areas feature the names of TaylorMade club professionals from across Canada, as well as the winners of Professional Golf Association (PGA) tournaments in Canada.

The general contractor for the project was ZZen Design Build.
