FLIR, a Teledyne Technologies company, has released its CM276 professional clamp meter with infrared (IR) imaging, a visual camera and solar photovoltaic (PV) direct current (DC) for electrical testing and measurement in commercial and industrial inspections.

With the CM276, electrical engineers can troubleshoot system components with IR-guided measurement (IGM) and radiometric multispectral dynamic imaging (MSX), which overlays visible camera details onto a thermal image to help safely execute inspections and identify hazards before contact is made.

More than just a clamp meter, the CM276 features an LED worklight (ensuring dual-thermal visible imagery even in total darkness) and on-board storage for up to 30,000 radiometric images and 100 log files. Testing results can be shared with colleagues and clients through Bluetooth integration with a free MeterLink app on Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android operating systems (OSs), which supports thermal, visible and MSX images and video clips either individually or as part of a comprehensive post-inspection report.
