CentreStack simplifies collaboration for AEC firms

Gladinet’s flagship product, CentreStack, provides a virtual private network (VPN) alternative for architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) firms that presents the company’s own file servers and familiar mapped drives as a private cloud for remote users.

This approach to file sharing and branch office synchronization offers the benefits of cloud-based work while keeping data on a firm’s existing servers. It provides a single place to collaborate on, manage and secure content and processes, with an access layer that makes it easier to maintain data compliance and protect networks from attacks.

CentreStack does not require site-site VPN connections for server directory synchronization or from remote clients. Instead, the only protocol needed for remote sites or clients is Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS).
