Technical documentation is downloadable.

With Festo Canada’s new process valve configurator, process and application engineers can reportedly configure butterfly or ball valve assemblies for their applications in just minutes online.

The user enters the process and ambient conditions of the application, along with the desired method of actuation. Then the digital tool suggests appropriate combinations for the job, whether it requires a manually actuated combination, a unit with a pilot valve and sensor box or a unit with a positioner for modulating or throttling applications.

Technical documentation for each component included in the assembly is downloadable from the Festo support portal. Users also receive a unique identification (ID) for each assembly configured, along with downloadable 3-D computer-aided design (CAD) models in a variety of file formats.

Configured valve units ordered through the configurator are delivered fully assembled, tested and are ready to install.
