Toronto-based Armstrong Fluid Technology has launched a mobile app that brings the benefits of its existing Pump Manager subscription service to users of Google Android and Apple iOS mobile devices.

Leveraging the connectivity of Armstrong’s pumps, the cloud-based Pump Manager service provides analytics, performance insights, alerts and notifications to support active performance management in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

“With this new app, operators can receive real-time alerts and performance data, wherever they are,” explains Tunji Asiwaju, Armstrong’s global manager of cloud services. “Service contractors may have a service level agreement (SLA) for a set retainer fee, so they can really benefit from efficiency improvements in service processes. They can check a mobile device and know immediately what issue a pump is experiencing.”

The Armstrong Pump Manager app is now available for download in the Google Play Store and Apple Store.
