Armstrong includes Wi-Fi connectivity kits with Pump Manager

Armstrong Fluid Technology is providing Wi-Fi connectivity kits at no extra cost with all new orders of its Design Envelope pumps if its Pump Manager subscription service is also purchased.

The kit, which includes a router, built-in subscriber identity module (SIM) card and training video, is designed to facilitate the connection of ‘intelligent’ pumps and enable remote performance tracking using Pump Manager asset management and analytics, viewable from any mobile device.

“Adding Pump Manager to a Design Envelope pump installation helps to support safe distancing in the workplace during the COVID-19 pandemic.” says Tunji Asiwaju, the company’s global manager for cloud services. “To make the connection process easier via the Internet, we’re adding the connectivity kit to new orders. HVAC profesisonals get all the benefits and added safety of remote performance tracking, reports and alerts, without having to use an existing Internet connection or pay for a new data plan.”
