Carrier has developed the Abound Healthy Air Starter Package to help monitor, visualize and react to indoor air quality (IAQ) issues in offices, schools, entertainment venues and other buildings.

The special, limited-time offering is prepackaged for installation in half a day and to provide real-time monitoring of three spaces, up to 30,000 sf. The starter package includes wireless, battery-operated IAQ sensors that measure carbon dioxide (CO2), particulate matter, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), radon, temperature and humidity.

The sensors connect directly to the cloud through cellular hubs, pulling IAQ data into the Abound digital platform (the package includes a one-year subscription), which then aggregates, analyzes, visualizes and benchmarks it against the Well Building Standard. Whenever any of the six components is beyond an acceptable range, building management is alerted.
