International Conference on Efficient Building Design

The sixth International Conference on Efficient Building Design is being organized by ASHRAE, the ASHRAE Lebanese Chapter, the Munib and Angela Masri Institute of Energy and Natural Resources and the American University of Beirut’s (AUB’s) department of mechanical engineering.

The conference will present research relating to human well-being and energy efficiency through the design of safer, healthier, more thermally comfortable and resilient buildings. Presentations will focus on topics relating to sustainable heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, particularly for arid and semi-arid regions, and investments in decarbonization of buildings.
