The Fourth International Conference on Efficient Building Design

This conference is co-organized by ASHRAE, its Lebanese chapter, the Munib and Angela Masri Institute of Energy and Natural Resources and the American University of Beirut’s (AUB’s) department of mechanical engineering. Its objective is to present research on bioclimatic building design to support occupant comfort and high efficiency in moderate to hut, humid climates, such as in the Arab region.

The conference, organized by ASHRAE, the ASHRAE Lebanese Chapter, the Munib and Angela Masri Institute of Energy and Natural Resources, and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the American University of Beirut, was originally planned to take place in October in Beirut, Lebanon, but will instead be a virtual event one month later.

A number of courses will be facilitated and offered by the ASHRAE Learning Institute (ALI).
