Continuing its buying spree, Stantec has announced the acquisition of yet another company. On March 6, the Edmonton-based consulting engineering company said it has completed the purchase of Carinci Burt Rogers Engineering of Toronto.
Carinci Burt Rogers is an electrical engineering consulting firm with 20 employees and experience in a range of building sectors, from industrial and commercial to recreational and residential buildings. The company’s portfolio includes the Art Gallery of Ontario, the National Trade Centre and the Hockey Hall of Fame in downtown Toronto, and more recently the William Osler Health Centre.
Both Fred Carinci, president and Corrie Burt, Chairman of Carinci Burt Rogers will continue on with Stantec.
“Joining Stantec gives us the ability to tap into a wealth of expertise and technical resources,” said Fred Carinci in a press release.
Stantec now has 400 staff in the Greater Toronto Area.
