Levelton Consultants of Vancouver won the People’s Choice Award at Canstruction Vancouver. The event, held to benefit the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society, involved 23 teams of engineers and other companies who built models using cans of food. A similar event is held in Toronto around Christmas time.
The Levelton team of 24 employees built a model of the “Black Pearl” ship anchored off a tropical CANibbean Island. It used 4,500 cans and packages.
