Delcan of Toronto has appointed Jim Kerr as its President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Peter J. Boyd, Chairman & CEO of Delcan, made the announcement in May. Mr. Boyd, who was president, will be retiring at the end of 2004 after 39 years of service
Jim Kerr has been a member of the Delcan Board since 1997. His former position was as President of Delcan’s national engineering technology group, or NET. Since joining the company in 1982 Kerr’s career focused on developing advanced technologies to solve transportation issues. In 1992 he moved to the U.S.A. to join NET.
