Morrison Hershfield has new president and CEO

Anthony Karakatsanis, P.Eng., has been appointed as President and Chief Executive
Officer of Morrison Hershfield Group of Toronto, effective October 1.
Mr. Karakatsanis succeeds Ron Wilson, P.Eng., who will remain active with the company.
“Morrison Hershfield is entering a new era as we set to deliver our next five year plan. I am extremely pleased to have Anthony lead the firm through this next period of growth as we
take on ever larger, greener, and more complex projects,” Wilson said.
Karakatsanis said it would be a great honour and privilege to serve Morrison Hershfield and that he was “excited about the future opportunities for growth and innovation throughout North America and globally.”
Karakatsanis has a Bachelor Engineering Science degree from the University of Western Ontario and joined Morrison Hershfield in 1989 as a specialist in project management. He most recently held the position of Senior Vice President of Infrastructure, Transportation & Environmental.
