AXOR, a Quebec engineering and construction company, has pleaded guilty to contravening the province’s electoral laws.
The Montreal company was fined $87,907 after the province’s chief electoral officer found employees of the company had made donations to three political parties on behalf of the firm.
In Quebec corporations are not allowed to donate to political parties.
