Morrison Hershfield Limited of Toronto has announced it has “joined forces” with Suncord Engineering Limited of Edmonton. Suncord was established in 1981 and provides mechanical engineering services for buildings and industrial projects.
Suncord’s founder, John Stewart, P.Eng., noted that the Suncord and Morrison Hershfield had worked together in the past, making the union a natural fit, which “enhances our ability to meet the needs of our clients and create new opportunities for staff.”
Morrison Hershfield’s chief executive office, Ron Wilson, P.Eng., noted that,
“this development further strengthens our mechanical capability,” and that together the companies have a combined staff of 700. Morrison Hershfield is employee-owned and has offices in 13 cities across North America.
