Lee, MLA for Burnaby North to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the opening of Schneider Electric’s $15 million MicroGrid Lab.

The lab was opened on July, 8th 2014 by Premier Christy Clark, and represents a major investment in British Columbia’s Research and Development infrastructure. One of the largest labs of its kind in North America, the MicroGrid Lab was built to facilitate Schneider Electric’s next generation three-phase central inverter platform.

Schneider Electric is a global Solar leader that ranks #1 in Business in Vancouver’s annual listing of the biggest alternative energy companies in BC, employing 230 people at their Solar business headquarters in Burnaby.
