Advanced Drainage Systems makes leadership change

Scott Barbour has been named president and CEO, succeeding Joe Chlapaty, who has served in that capacity since 2004.
Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., the Ohio-based manufacturer of water management products and solutions for commercial and infrastructure applications with manufacturing and distribution centres in Canada, has announced leadership changes which become effective September 1, 2017.

Scott Barbour has been named president and CEO, succeeding Joe Chlapaty, who has served in that capacity since 2004. Barbour also becomes a director on board.
“I am very excited to join the ADS team and to continue the company’s legacy of revolutionizing the water management industry,” said Barbour in a company release.
Barbour has over 25 years of experience in the industrials sector, most recently working with Emerson Electric as president and CEO of its network power business.
Chlapaty becomes chairman emeritus of the board, and C. Robert Kidder has been named chairman of the board.
