Airzone Control, which manufactures heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) control and zoning products for light commercial and residential buildings, has entered a partnership with Bodhi, which develops building intelligence software.

Through the partnership, Airzone is integrating its Aidoo Pro controllers and Inverter variable refrigerant flow (VRF) mini-split units with Bodhi’s cloud-based platform to help simplify management and troubleshooting and enhancing energy efficiency for hospitality venues, multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs) and commercial facilities.

Airzone enables bi-directional communication between HVAC systems and Bodhi’s Internet of Things (IoT) software through a library of protocols from Daikin, Mitsubishi, Samsung and other manufacturers. In turn, the software allows property managers to schedule automation, access analytics, view alerts and manage troubleshooting tickets.

In the future, Bodhi plans to offer hardwired Modbus integration between its thermostat and Aidoo Pro.

“This partnership will lead to dramatically improved HVAC efficiency for properties across North America,” says Antonio Mediato, Airzone’s CEO.
