Dessau-Soprin, a large Quebec engineering and construction company, has bought a firm in Chile, Ingentra, SA. Ingentra has 50 employees and works in the field of electricity. Mr. Jean Tousignant, an employee of Dessau-Soprin since 1988 and the firm’s senior vice-president of energy and telecommunications, will lead the operations of the new venture.
Dessau-Soprin has had a presence in Latin America for eight years, working in Peru on a community electrification project, and in Venezuela on the rehabilitation of water treatment plants and purification systems in the Nor-Litoral region.
