Construction steel maker sells operations in Mexico and U.S.

Canam Manac Group of Quebec, a major supplier of steel components to the construction industry in Canada, has put its steel joist and steel deck manufacturing operations in the U.S. and Mexico up for sale.
The company will continue to offer steel joists and steel deck in Canada and In New England, and it will also continue to work on heavy structural steel projects throughout North America.
Activities related to the Steel Plus Network are not affected by the decision. Canam Manac is based in Saint-Georges de Beauce in Quebec.
