RJC welcomes four principals and seven new associates

In January RJC Engineers announced the appointment of four new principals and seven new associates to its leadership teams across the country.

The latest principals with the firm include:

Dennis Gam

Dennis Gam, P.Eng., with RJC Vancouver in the building science & restoration team, where he and his group provide a range of consulting services related to existing building projects including: structural consulting for renovation and repair projects; seismic assessment and upgrades; and specialty engineering for structural attachment and seismic restraint.

Jamie Murphy

Jamie Murphy, joined RJC Edmonton in 1998 as a civil engineering technologist and in 2012 was made an associate of the firm. His contributions include the successful integration and implementation of structural restoration and building science services, primarily for multi-family dwellings. He is part of the building science and restoration team.

Damien Stoneham

Damien Stoneham, P.Eng., has practiced structural engineering in Ireland, Australia and Canada. At RJC Vancouver he has been involved in the planning and design of major commercial, institutional, and public buildings.

Enzo Vercillo

Enzo Vercillo received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1995 from the University of Alberta and joined RJC in 1997. He became an associate in 2012 and is a structural restoration specialist and an integral member of RJC Edmonton’s building science and restoration team.

Meredith Anderson

Meredith Anderson, P.Eng., who joined RJC in 2003 after graduating from the University of Washington, and earned her Struct. Eng (BC) designation in 2016. As a project engineer on the structural team at RJC Vancouver, she brings a broad cross-section of experience in a variety of project types including high-rise residential, office towers, retail, institutional and sports and recreation.

Ryan Coles

Ryan Coles, P.Eng., was educated in New Brunswick and joined Calgary’s building science & restoration team in 2008. Coles became a Professional Engineer (AB) in early 2013 and was promoted to project engineer in 2014.
He is responsible for a wide variety of projects and services including the assessment and rehabilitation of structural elements, building envelope, roofs, post-tensioned systems, fall protection and parkades.

Bob Korneluk

Bob Korneluk, P.Eng., has been with Edmonton’s building science & restoration team since 2012. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2002 and then spent 10 years with a structural engineering firm in St. Albert. Since joining RJC as a project engineer, his primary focus has been in the field of building science.

Scott Laing

Scott Laing, P.Eng., joined RJC in 2007 after graduating from the University of Alberta, and obtained his Professional Engineer designation with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in 2011. He is an associate with Edmonton’s building science & restoration team and is involved in structural restoration, evaluation of existing structures, structural design of existing buildings, renovations and upgrades and field review.

Dominic Mattman

Dominic Mattman, P.Eng., joined RJC’s Vancouver structural team after completing his Master’s in earthquake engineering at the University of British Columbia in 2006. He holds Professional Engineer designations in British Columbia, Ontario and New Brunswick in addition to being a LEED AP. In 2012, he transferred to RJC’s Toronto structural team and was promoted to project engineer.

Clint Plett

Clint Plett, P.Eng., joined RJC as a design engineer in 2006 after graduating from Lakehead University. Plett received his Professional Engineer designation with the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) in 2012.  He was promoted to project engineer in 2015 and has contributed to the growth of RJC Victoria’s structural team by leading production of a number of the region’s larger and more complex buildings.

Craig Wadsworth

Craig Wadsworth, P.Eng., joined RJC Toronto’s structural team in 2006 after graduating from Carleton University, and he was promoted to project engineer in 2010. He earned his Professional Engineer designation with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) in 2010
