Consulting Engineers of B.C. (CEBC) and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C. (APEGBC) have approved a new document to help clients allocate the appropriate level of engineering services for their projects. CEBC’s Budget Guidelines for Consulting Engineering Services is a companion document to the recently released CEBC Consulting Engineers Fee Guideline. The documents replace earlier versions dating back to 1996.

CEBC has also released an updated version of its Intellectual Property Guidelines which now includes suggestions from the Architectural Institute of B.C. and is endorsed by AIBC and APEGBC.
