Cobalt Engineering’s corporate headquarters won two awards from the Interior Design Institute of British Columbia recently. The engineering consultants offices on 200 Granville Street won an award of excellence in the “workplace total” category, and an award of merit in the “sustainability” category.
Cobalt (now part of the Integral Group) played an important role in the design, which was by Perkins + Will Architects. Loren Cavallin, lead designer with Perkins + Will, said “Cobalt is a creative and innovative company that believes strongly in collaboration and sustainability. We wanted their corporate interiors to reflect these core values.”
Cobalt, which specializes in mechanical and electrical engineering and sustainable design, is now a part of the Integral Group. The office is targeted LEED Gold.
