Canada’s largest construction conference and trade show will take place November 30 to December 2 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Building. The 23rd annual Construct Canada conference includes concurrent streams, Concrete Canada, and a special International Business Program all day on Wednesday, November 30 that has a session on development opportunities in South America.

Canadian Consulting Engineer is a sponsor of the National Green Buildings Conference, also part of the event.  A small sample of the Green Buildings sessions includes “Provisions in the Updated National Energy Code for Buildings 2011” (Wednesday, 1.00 p.m.), “The Future of Solar PV Installations (Wednesday, 2.30 p.m.) , “ISO 50001 Standards for Energy Management Systems: Raising the Bar” (Thursday, 9.00 a.m.), Bringing Building Integrated Photovoltaics into the Mainstream in Canada” (Thursday 10.30 a.m.), and “Legally Green: the Legal Implications of Going Green” (Thursday, 2.30 p.m.).

The conference includes 200 presentations (450 speakers), while the trade show has 1,050 exhibits.
