World Engineers Convention

For the first time since its inception, theWorld Federation of Engineering Organizations’ (WFEO’s) World Engineers Convention (WEC) will be held in Canada in 2027.

Montréal’s proposal, which was selected by unanimous vote of the WFEO general assembly in 2022, was submitted by Engineers Canada and l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and supported by the Palais des congrès, Tourisme Montréal and MCI Group Canada.

WEC 2027 is set to draw thousands of delegates both locally and from around the world, representing the global engineering community. The convention provides an opportunity to keep abreast of industry news and research, learn about the latest tools to help solve current and future problems and ensure the sustainable development of society. Attendees will hear from experts, network with other engineering professionals and explore important topics.
