Opportunities and Challenges for Hydrogen in Ontario – Webinar

The Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) presents a keynote address by Jeff Yurek, provincial minister of the environment, conservation and parks, following his government’s recent release for public consultation of a discussion paper that will inform the development of Ontario’s first hydrogen strategy.

The paper sets out a vision for low-carbon hydrogen as a strategic opportunity to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, attract investment and spur job creation in engineering, the trades and manufacturing.

In addition to Yurek’s address, OSPE’s own energy task force will provide an overview specific to the engineering community. This will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session.
