Industry Summit on Construction Technology

The theme for this year’s Industry Summit on Construction Technology is ‘The Future of Construction: Automation, Off-site and Field Technology.’ Organized by Building Transformations (formerly CanBIM) and the Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA), the event will showcase how the architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) industry is using design integration, prefabrication, automation and field mechanization to improve safety and address skilled labour shortages, in the face of increasing demand for infrastructure.

The summit will bring together experts, practitioners, researchers and policymakers to discuss innovations, challenges and opportunities to contribute to industry advancement. In addition to educational sessions, the three-day event will feature site tours, a networking dinner and a charity golf tournament.
