The engineering profession has committed to increasing the number of newly licensed engineers who are women to 30% by 2030, but is at risk of not achieving this goal. With 2030 only six years away, female-identifying newly licensed engineers account for less than 20% of the engineering profession in Canada.

Engineers Canada’s 2024 30 by 30 Conference brings a one-day, in-person summit to Winnipeg, bringing together engineering workplace laders, educators, regulators and others to refocus the profession’s efforts and create meaningful change to advance gender equity.
