Natural Resources Canada has launched a new version of IBIP EE4 1.50 software. The software is used to evaluate whether building designs meet requirements for government energy-saving incentive programs such as the Commercial Building Incentive Program and Industrial Building Incentive Program. EE4 1.50 had to be used for all submissions to these programs after December 10.
The software has 30 modelling improvements, including the incorporation of carbon-dioxide demand-controlled ventilation and the allowance for a user-supplied airflow rate in make-up air systems.
