Rising 60 meters above ground, with a view stretching 28 km, the observation wheel features 42 temperature-controlled gondolas.
Beginning this June, Montreal will boast the highest observation wheel in Canada and third highest in Canada/U.S.
Already under construction on Île Bonsecours in the Old Port, Montreal’s Observation Wheel is expected to generate tourism for the metropolitan region. La Grande Roue de Montréal is the private company that designed and will operate this new attraction.
Rising 60 meters above ground, with a view stretching 28 km, the observation wheel features 42 temperature-controlled gondolas that can seat eight during three revolutions over 15 minutes. The plan is for the wheel to be in operation year round,
