Ontario’s $7 Billion Wind And Solar Power Deal

In January, the Ontario government entered into an agreement with Samsung C&T and the Korea Electric Power Corporation to invest $7 billion in renewable wind and solar power generating clusters throughout the province. The green energy investment is said to be the largest of its kind in the world.
By 2016, the output of the renewable plants will be 2.5 GW.
