Engineers Canada adopted the ’30 by 30′ initiative in 2014, with the goal of increasing the proportion of newly licensed female-identifying engineers to 30% by the year 2030. This conference is part of that effort, gathering engineering regulation leaders and employers to address the underrepresentation of women and barriers to inclusion, by networking, collaborating, sharing information and promoting accountability.
