Hardik Gajjar has joined consulting engineering firm HDR as maritime planning lead.

Gajjar has more than 15 years’ experience leading master planning, terminal planning and land use studies for ports, terminal operators, railroads and trucking facility projects around the world. An internship with Parsons Brinckerhoff introduced him to consulting engineering; he stayed on with the firm, which was acquired in 2014 by WSP, until late last year.

In his new role, Gajjar will support port owners and operators across the globe as they pursue more efficient operations and ‘smart’ infrastructure development.

“It’s an honour to join one of the best ports and maritime firms in the industry,” he says. “I’m looking forward to leveraging HDR’s cross-sector collaboration to help clients.”
