The Fédération Internationale Des Ingénieurs-Conseils (FIDIC) will hold its annual flagship infrastructure conference in South Africa this fall, bringing hundreds of the world’s engineers and construction industry professionals together.

This year’s theme is ‘Smart Infrastructure: Equality, Resilience and Innovation for a Sustainable World.’ A lineup of speakers, global influencers, industry experts and sector leaders will present three days of discussion, debate and networking.Key sessions will address the politics of infrastructure; how best to deliver infrastructure for society, equality, climate and nature; and how to finance infrastructure with rising debt.

FIDIC’s Global Infrastructure Conference is also the annual gathering for its international member associations, at a time when the G20 presidency is handed over to South Africa.
