The Federation of Canadian Municipalities called for the federal government to make investment in Canada’s infrastructure a priority in its budget due Tuesday.

“In the last few years the federal government has partnered with cities to fight the recession and fix aging roads, bridges and water systems,” said Hans Cunningham, president of FCM on March 18. “To continue building our economy – and meet the needs of Canadian families and businesses – we need to keep that partnership strong for the long-haul.”
