TOA Canada, based in Mississauga, Ont., has introduced the DA-150EH, a low-powered multi-channel amplifier.

The amplifier was developed to deliver the versatility of numerous channels while maintaining appropriate power to each output, addressing large-scale sound-system applications where background/foreground public announcements and/or music distributions are required in multiple zones. Specifically, the compact DA-150EH is an eight-channel Class D amplifier, with 150 W per channel.

Integration with 70-V/100-V line output systems is possible, as is separate volume control for each channel. The amplifier is suitable for facilities that only require mid-level power, including courthouses, medical centres, hotels and retail stores.

“We encounter many applications where our other DA-series power amplifiers would be overkill for a project,” explains Don Angus, TOA’s regional sales manager for Ontario.
