Parked along Lake Ontario on a hot summer’s day, the Daikin HVAC Innovation Roadshow trailer set up in Toronto on July 18th attracting some 500 mechanical engineers, contractors and others allied to the field.

Hosted by HTS Engineering, a full-service North American HVAC manufacturer’s representative, the afternoon event included a series of informative 30-minute seminars on topics like refrigerants, humidification, water heating, and sound & vibration mitigation to go along with tours of the travelling trailer filled with product displays which included a variable volume ratio (VVR) compressor, magnetic bearing compressor, the company’s PreciseLine blower coil and SmartSource water source heat pump (WSHP), an ECM fan array, and its Intelligent Controls solutions.

The 2019 Daikin Innovation Roadshow is making some 38 stops across North America between April and October. Toronto was the fourth Canadian location on this year’s tour following an East Coast swing through Dartmouth and Moncton and an event in Ottawa.

The next Canadian visits will be in Saskatchewan, Saskatoon (Aug. 20) and Regina (Aug. 22).
