Indoor air quality (IAQ) product manufacturer Fresh-Aire UV has introduced the Blue-Tube UV-X light to keep heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems’ interiors clean of biological contaminants by continually treating their airstreams.
The ultraviolet (UV) disinfection package includes a 15-in. long quartz lamp, a magnetic mounting bracket with anti-vibration coating, remote power supply and 90-degree low-profile electrical connector. The compact power supply, which carries a lifetime warranty, now features a power and lamp indicator light-emitting diode (LED) on the low-voltage model.
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has validated the Blue-Tube UV-X as free of potentially harmful ozone. It is available through HVAC wholesale distributors.
