The Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), with McGraw-Hill and ICC, has released Tall and Supertall Buildings: Planning and Design.
The 416-page volume has contributions from 30 experts involved in skyscrapers such as the Sears Tower, Taipei 101, Burj Khalifa and the Petronas towers.
The book addresses HVAC systems and sustainability, as well as topics like geotechnical and foundation engineering and wind engineering.
