The Canadian Standards Association is asking for public input for the first edition of a national standard on building commissioning.
The CSA Z320 Building Commissioning standard will provide a comprehensive process for validating and documenting the performance of a completed building and its systems. It applies to both new construction and renovations, and includes mechanical, electrical, vertical and horizontal transportation, control systems and architecture.
The standard is open for public review for 60 days from March 10.
