Rittal Canada has introduced stainless steel versions of its AX and KX enclosures for the industrial, information technology (IT), energy, power, cooling and service sectors.

Designed for specialized applications demanding robust materials, the new enclosures offer durability and resilience against chemicals, saltwater and extreme humidity. A patented system of enclosure locators enables integration into various configurations and refits, replicating the 25-mm system pitch pattern from Rittal’s VX25 system and allowing for simple, drill-free installation with mounting components and accessories.

Door-operated switches, cable conduits and enclosure lights can be installed on rails. The predefined space between the rails also allows for the use of system accessories from the VX25, enhancing compatibility.

The stainless steel AX and KX have been digitally optimized for panel building and switchgear manufacturing processes. Compatible with Rittal’s Eplan software, they facilitate mechatronic planning and design for seamless configuration with corresponding installed equipment. The RiPanel tool further simplifies the ordering and configuration of enclosures and accessories.
