Pharmaceuticals attract SNC-Lavalin

SNC-Lavalin has acquired two Pennsylvania companies, The Construction Partnership, Inc. (TCPI) and NorthStar CV. The acquisitions increase SNC-Lavalin’s pharmaceutical and biotechnology team by about 50 people to over 700 employees worldwide.
“These acquisitions are in line with our strategy to further develop our global biopharmaceutical resources,” said Pierre Anctil, Executive Vice-President, SNC-Lavalin Group.
Daniel Lachapelle, Senior Vice-President and General Manager, SNC-Lavalin Engineering & Technology noted that the Pennsylvania region of the U.S. is a major area of biotechnological and pharmaceutical research.
TCPI has been providing engineering consulting and construction services to the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors from its offices in Exton and Allentown since 1985. NorthStar CV has been providing compliance, commissioning and validation services to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries from its office in Exton since 2003.
