Free legal advice for Ontario engineers this week

For this week, beginning December 5, insurance company DAS Canada is offering engineers in Ontario free qualified legal advice through a hotline. Callers will be connected with a lawyer to answer business-related legal questions on anything from contract disputes to property protection to bodily injury issues.

The program is part of a program to promote DAS insurance for the cost of legal disputes.  The hotline, 1-877-882-3842, will be available until 11.59 p.m. on December 11.

DAS is also hosting a “business legal nightmares” contest to hear from small business owners about legal challenges they have had to face. Participants can enter for a chance to win $1,000 Staples gift cards.
